Electroless nickel plating is excellent for the following: corrosion protection, wear resistance, hardness, lubricity, solderability, uniformity of deposit, and salvage. We offer both high phosphorous and low phosphorous. Rockwell after plating ranges from 44-48 on the C scale heat treatable to high 60s C scale. High phosphorous is used most often because of excellent corrosion resistance.
Our low phosphorous consists of 1-3% phosphorous, an excellent application if the primary concern is hardness, as plated 58-62 C scale, heat treatable to 70 C. The advantage of hard plating with even deposition.
