Hard Chrome Plating
Hard Chrome Plating is a very hard electro-plate exceeding Rockwell
C-67. Together with its low coefficient of friction and its self-lubricating
properties hard chrome is an IDEAL material for any wear surface in
any application.
Hard Chrome Plating is used extensively in plating rubber, plastic, and fiberglass
mold. It provides enhanced mold release and minimizes the possibilty
of staining or corroding.
Products Finishing, Inc. has facilities to cylindrical, centerless or
surface grind any new or used machine component. Parts can be salvaged
by grinding them under the original size, plating with HARD CHROME,
and then regrinding back to the original dimensions. Our tank has a
16' capacity.
Hard Chrome Plating is used by many machine manufacturers to extend the life
of many new and used component parts. It can be used in any application
up to 2000 degrees F with no ill effects.
